What we collect, and why.

Short version: we collect what is needed to route a sewer or drain request to a local provider — your call details, any voicemail you leave, and anything you send by email or the contact page. We do not run advertising cookies or cross-site trackers, and we do not sell your information. The only analytics is Cloudflare's cookieless, aggregate page-view measurement.

What we collect

Call, voicemail, and email data.

Call metadata. Our phone line at (978) 625-6679 runs on Twilio. When you call, Twilio records metadata such as caller number, call time, duration, and general caller location (city/state derived from the number).
Voicemail recordings and transcripts. If a call is not answered live, you can leave a voicemail. That recording is stored by Twilio and emailed to our intake inbox, including an automated transcript where available, through SendGrid.
Live call recording. We do not record live phone conversations by default. Massachusetts requires all parties to consent before a call is recorded. If we ever enable live call recording, you will be told before recording starts and given the option to use the contact form instead.
Email and contact form details. If you email intake@middlesexdrainpros.com or use the contact page, we receive whatever you send: your address, message content, and any details you choose to include, such as town, symptoms, or urgency.
Hosting and security logs. This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes standard connection and security logs (such as IP address and request metadata) to serve the site and protect it from abuse. Cloudflare also injects its Web Analytics beacon, a cookieless script that reports aggregate page views and performance timings; it does not profile individual visitors across sites. We do not add advertising scripts or any other analytics on top of this.

No advertising tracking

No ad cookies, no cross-site tracking.

As of the date above, this site does not run advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or visitor-profiling analytics. The only measurement is Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and aggregate. If that changes, this page will be updated to describe what was added and why.

Why we collect it

Routing your request, nothing else.

Call, voicemail, and email details are used to understand what problem you have, which Middlesex County town you are in, and how urgent it is, so the request can be routed to a relevant local provider where coverage exists.

Sharing

Who sees your information.

We share the relevant details of your request — town, symptom description, and contact information — with a local sewer and drain provider only when we are routing your request to them.
We do not sell or rent your information to third parties.
We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers.
We use Twilio to operate our phone line and voicemail, and SendGrid to deliver voicemail transcripts and notifications to our own intake inbox. These providers process data on our behalf under their own standard terms; we do not use them for marketing.

Retention

We keep only what is practical.

Call and voicemail records are kept in our provider accounts (Twilio and our intake email) only as long as reasonably needed to route your request and follow up. We do not maintain a long-term marketing database of caller information. If you would like a specific record deleted sooner, contact us and we will do so.

This policy applies to middlesexdrainpros.com and covers residents of Massachusetts and the wider United States. It does not apply to the separate privacy practices of third-party providers we route requests to; ask them directly about how they handle your information.
